Reminder to submit your New Teacher application in teachnyc.net by this Friday, April 20, 2018!

DO NOW:
Please send a confirmation email to studentteachers@nyctcp.org with the email you will be using moving forward (beyond NYCTA student teaching semester) and for your new teacher application.
STEPS TO APPLYING:
- Teacher Application Guide: Review the Online Teacher Application Guide for NYCTA Student Teachers here: Teacher Application Guide for NYCTA Student Teachers. Pay special attention to areas that signify NYCTA STUDENT TEACHERS as there may be specific and expedited instructions just for you!
- Teach NYC and New Teacher Application: Visit the Teach NYC website (http://teachnyc.net/) and Apply Now.
- Direct links:
- Priority deadline for submission: Friday, April 20th, 2018. Please note: You can still apply after this 2-week priority window – however, this deadline will make you eligible for the full range of hiring supports, which are starting now.
- Confirm Application: Upon submitting your application, please email studentteachers@nyctcp.org to confirm submission and we can review your application for anything missing.
KEY REMINDERS:
- Make sure to input your SSN correctly!
- Include NYCTA specific information in your resume, as you will be highlighted as a NYCTA graduate upon successful completion of the program.
- Uploading a proof of certification at this time is optional and can be conducted after you submit your initial application. Copy of certification or proof of certification needs to be uploaded by September 1st.
